Do or die week for a lot of people. Anyone confident in Watson this weekend? He's been solid this year and New England hasn't been as scary the past few weeks so I'm torn.

I was able to snag Darnold off of waivers this morning and leaning towards Darnold v Cin.

That depends on your situation. If you can play it safe, I say go with Darnold. I think Watson is more boom or bust this week. I’ve got NE defense and I picked up Carolina and am probably going to play them this week.

Thanks. I'm in a 3way tie for first so it's a battle for the bye. I don't have to win, but that bye is so damn valuable.

I would go with Darnold.

But I'm going up against Watson, if my opponent plays him, so he's likely to go off.

Darnold is putting up QB1 numbers over the past 3 weeks and has a matchup with a bottom 3 Bengals pass defense. Don’t see why you wouldn’t start him regardless. Watson hasn’t finished as a QB1 since week 8, and only 5 times on the season with 4 of those coming before week 7.

6 point pass tds - Lamar's average is 30.77/week

Against New England he put up 29.53

It checks out

Had 30.6 for me in my 6pt leagues. Either way, anyone not named Lamar has been shaky against them and Watson is far from a smash play.

I'd go Darnold.

Texans are a perfect match up for the Pats. No real running game, bad Oline and a QB who likes to hold onto the football as long as he can.

Pick a streamer if there’s one worth starting.

Watson. NE has played poo pretty much all year sans Lamar. Houston at home will score a bunch.

Dak is QB3 and just laid a 7 burger vs NE. Lamar scored 18 on the ground

Watson has faced just one defense in the top-10 in expected points added via pass defense all season and he was the QB28 against the Ravens with a season-low 4 fantasy points. The Patriots are first in Expected Points Added via their pass defense and have yet to allow multiple touchdown passes in a game yet this season. The last time watson faced the Patriots, he completed just 50.0% of his passes for 5.2 yards per attempt.

It was a freaking tropical storm they were playing In.

And Watson is more than capable on the ground.

I’m starting him, but a little nervous about it. I’ve heard you always run your horses. Play your studs and hope for the best

New England has 6 guys on defense that are questionable due to illness. That could change things
