Given all the injuries, gotta believe it is going to be a boom or bust situation. He can't be in a better spot. Up to him
to perform. Will soon find out

Kenbrell Thompkins caught four of 14 targets for 42 yards and was even worse than that stat line. He had a short TD in his grasp, and Tom Brady led him as he changed course at the back of the end zone, but Thompkins stopped and the ball traveled beyond him. On the very next play, Thompkins ran into Julian Edelman knocking down both players, and causing a fruitless end zone attempt. It was awful stuff.

Still raw, not ready for the big times. He might end up in jail before he does anything worth while. For yalls sake, I hope I am wrong, but I dont see it. This week would be the time for him to show something though.

well obviously, but i get concerned when my receiver does all of his numbers on one play. Same for runningbacks. You get the ones who have the opportunities and the points take care of themselves

except when doug martin gets 24 carries and scores 10 fricking asd;lkjfa;sdklfja;sldkfjasdl;kjfa;ldksfkj;lasdfkh;asdkhg;asdlkg

sorry, I won. I shouldn't be upset

Kembrell had a bad game 1 but not as disaterous as some are making it to be

Keeping your feet in bounds/concetration drops/wrong routes are correctable mistakes and a bit understandable for the guys first professional football game. He did get pretty good seperation through the game and thats half the battle. Jury is still out on him obviously but hell be better imo

Nope.

Same.

I just made the decision. I am starting him at WR, but really replacing CJ2K at a flex spot.

I'm sure I'll regret it.

Good luck with Cromartie on him all night. I've been telling everyone Aaron Dobson is the main focus tonight. He's ready to play.

Aaron Dobson (hamstring) is tentatively expected to make his NFL debut Thursday.
Given the rash of injuries to the Patriots pass-catchers, the Patriots are going to be in an "all hands on deck" situation. But Dobson is strictly an outside receiver that is behind Kenbrell Thompkins and possibly Josh Boyce as well. We wouldn't expect significant snaps even if he's active.

Read into what you want, he'll be on the field tonight. He's currently on the field catching balls in warm-up's with no problem.

As stated above, I am playing Kenbrell in my main PPR league, decided this afternoon. It's basically my Flex2 spot and playing him over CJ2K, Cecil, Joique, Mi.Floyd.

If he gets 12 targets (14 last week), catches 6 for 60 and 0 TDs, I'll take the 12 points for my last Flex spot.

And an outside only, he's easily just as likely to get Cromartie on him as Kenbrell. And God knows what Rex does with the defense. Plus it's a short week and I trust Pats > Jets - especially on a short week. Add in the Kenbrell schooled Dobson to earn his snaps, I trust Kenbrell getting over his jitters.

We'll see though. It's all guesses until the games are played.

Thompkins looks lost out there. 2 or 3 targets where he broke off the route and Brady thought he was doing something different

He only has 2 targets and caught 1 for 9.

Prior to the 1 for 9, he had 2 pass thrown at him. 1 was not considered a target b/c of penalty. Both those passes, he zigged when brady thought he was zagging
