Greg Roman said that even if Najee Harris isn’t ready to go Week 1, RB Omarion Hampton will rotate with another back. Who that other back is, Roman says is wide open.

Giants WR Malik Nabers (toe) will not practice on Tuesday, HC Brian Daboll said. Nabers hasn't practiced since August 6, according to SNY's Connor Hughes. Daboll wouldn't say whether Nabers needs additional testing on his troublesome toe.

Might be time to start considering this issue before smashing the button for him in rd 1

ESPN sources: Chiefs WR Rashee Rice is expected to have his disciplinary hearing with the NFL on Tuesday, Sept 30 in New York. This means that Rice now is likely to be able to play the first four weeks of this season before any potential discipline is imposed for his role in a multi-car crash in Dallas during the 2024 offseason.

Awesome. My two WRs is my primary dynasty that I’m a front runner are Jefferson and Nabers.

SLATER SCOOP: Cleveland Browns RB Quinshon Judkins will not face any formal charges from the alleged incident in South Florida, I've learned.

Prosecutors have declined to move forward with the case.

Colts WR Josh Downs has left practice with a left hamstring injury. He injured it on a play and immediately went to the trainers. Walked off under his own power but this is absolutely worth monitoring.

Idk hamstrings tend to linger, one tweak and he can be out six weeks.

According to insider Ben Standig, rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt has a legitimate chance to be the Commanders’ starting running back this season.

I’m gonna guess Brian Robinson is not on the Week 1 roster. I have no insight into that. … If Croskey-Merritt’s on this team, I just don’t know how you’re sitting him,”

Quite a hot take

Though Matthew Stafford is still dealing with a back injury, the quarterback reportedly could still be on the field by Week 1.

Per ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, the Los Angeles Rams expect him to be available for Week 1 despite the lingering back issue.

Possibly good news for the skill players. I'm not as down on Kyren Williams as everyone else. I'll probably take him if hes still there early to mid 3rd round.

I think enough people are down on Kyren to the point where he’s being underrated at this point

Just heard on the radio Nabers has a new injury. No link yet

"I heard from a source that it's not a toe injury. It's a different injury than the toe and the shoulder," Raanan said on the Breaking Big Blue podcast. "It's a very minor thing, and he'll be good.

It doesn’t even make sense. If JCM is that good, why wouldn’t he make the team?

A small step: #Commanders WR Terry McLaurin is coming off the PUP list, as he's set to ramp up — the next step in returning to practice.

There is no indication of progress on an extension. But with the season looming, McLaurin will begin the process of getting his body ready.
