Sources: 49ers WR Jauan Jennings, listed as questionable for today’s game vs. the Cardinals due to shoulder and ankle injuries, will not play and will be out.

49ers QB Brock Purdy also will be out due to his toe injury. Adrian Martinez will back up starting QB Mac Jones.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team doctors said CeeDee Lamb’s ankle injury is not as serious as it could’ve been. “Let’s just keep our fingers crossed.”

Sounds like Najee is done for the year.

A source told ESPN that they assume James Conner's right ankle injury is severe enough to end his season but an official prognosis hasn't been made yet.

A few major injuries, bye weeks around the corner…let the fun begin.

This is where that beautiful draft starts looking like a big pile of crap.

I’ve felt this year was down so far. Just didn’t see any data on it until now.

I feel like they dont play enough football in camp like they used to. They're trying to take football out of football. I was watching a game yesterday when the qb was a runner they literally called unnecessary roughness on the defender for hitting the qb too hard. This shite is getting ridiculous.

But shouldn't these things help offensive production?

I would rather watch real football than get more points because a guy got hit too hard with a clean hit.

I was saying that I think the lack of contact and ramping up in training camp is the reason for scoring being down. The other thing about the QB is just more of them trying to take football out of football and it's killing the game almost as bad as the 3 point line has done to basketball.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb suffered a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss to the Bears that makes him unlikely to play Sunday night vs. the Packers, per sources. The Cowboys want to see how Lamb is doing the next 10-14 days before making further determinations about his status.

I think a lot of it has to do with the new kickoff rules and where teams start with the ball now.

That's what I was thinking. Total yards may be down, but is scoring down?
