It was a good time. Lot of ups and downs.

A few guys were even more out of control than normal. And across the board early there weren't many values. I was regretting not just grabbing Trout for a while.

Yeah I had the same thought after I saw what all the stars were going for after Trout.

Just doing an arbitary cutoff of $30+ players, but there were a few good values (and some overpays). This list is not comprehensive.

STEALS

Paul Goldschmidt $37 (American Dreams)
Christian Yelich $42 (American Dreams)
Trea Turner $44 (Nonetheless)

GOOD

Manny Machado $41 (Vick's Kennel Club)
Kris Bryant $39 (The Express)
Juan Soto $30 (Florida Tigah)
Jacob deGrom $40 (Metry Hit Men)
Khris Davis $41 (Maf Wic)
Francisco Lindor $40 (American Dreams)

BAD

Anthony Rizzo $36 (The Express)
Bryce Harper $53 (Metry Hit Men)
Chris Sale $48 (Open Team)
Javy Baez $48 (Purple Helmet Warriors)
Ronald Acuna, Jr. $47 (Nonetheless)

Well I like having 2 “Steals” and 1 “Good”, but I don’t like being picked 11th

There were some crazy good values late in the auction, by several different owners. I’ll post some of my favorites later.

ETA, I’ve played fantasy baseball for years but never done an auction. That was a lot of fun and I think I prefer it to the traditional draft format.

Bieber fever

I've been in too many of those. Where you're flush with cash and you've been saving it for a certain guy but someone else has too.

I just wanted to spend my money so I could say I spent it. I really screwed up during the draft. Figured I’d go out with a bang, ha

I almost had Eloy but would have been broke if I stayed in. Kind of regret it a little now.

Will be interesting to watch that list as the season goes on. Several of them should produce double digit value.

Metry, I agree on Eloy. I should’ve spent less early so I could be in the mix for Eloy and a few others late.

Was pleasantly surprised to get Eloy that low, usually don't get the single digit bargains on guys with that type of prospect buzz. Now wonder what he would have gone for if the draft was tonight.

I miss last year’s ESPN interface. I know there’s an adaption period, but I am really afraid this is less functional.
