I don't recall ever seeing someone drafting on the turn make one pick, disappear for a couple of hours, then come back and make the second pick. ?
Man i dont know what happened there, but I'm glad to be first at something.

Overview:
We think you're looking good at quarterback and running back. Your squad is therefore easy for us to like despite a bit of weakness at the receiver position. But as weaknesses go, this is one is survivable. It's usually relatively easy to find fill-in guys on a weekly basis until a better player emerges during the season. As long as you stay on top of things inseason, you should be the league favorite or very close to it.
...
Bottom line:
With great inseason management, we think you have about a 99 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With good inseason management, we think you have about a 90 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With average inseason management, we think you have a 86 percent chance of making the playoffs.

Injuries have derailed me the last couple of years in a few of my leagues.
If someone’s team goes injury free for an entire season I believe they have s very good shot at the playoffs. Then anything can happen.
In one league last year I was #1 team. My team shite the bed in the semis, then in the 3rd place game my team scored more points than both teams combined in the championship.

Your receivers are the strongest part of this team and you look good at tight end as well. It's rare for us to endorse a team with weaknesses at quarterback and running back, but we're doing it right here! You should have a contender here. But your margin for error in terms of inseason management could be a bit thinner than some of your competitors'. You must remain committed to finding 2018's emergent players at RB and QB.
Players we particularly like on this team include Marquise Goodwin, Robby Anderson, Tyler Lockett, Eric Ebron, and Latavius Murray. We have all these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.
Bottom line:
With great inseason management, we think you have about a 85 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With good inseason management, we think you have about a 75 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With average inseason management, we think you have a 61 percent chance of making the playoffs.
I know Cam isn't the best passer at times but they have him as their #5 projected QB going into the year
so he's weakness too? Talk about covering tracks Football Guys!

I'll post Fantasy Pros rankings when - ahem, if - draft is complete.

Let's start by remarking that we appreciate your old-school leanings: you have a team marked by strength at the running back position. Because the position is so sought after, a team constructed like this usually has a chance to make the playoffs. Your strength at tight end is also a plus, but with the quarterback and wide receiver both being less strong, you may need to do something to change the outlook of this team. Your deficiencies are likely to show themselves through the bye weeks, so try to manuever early in improving the quarterback and/or receiver positions before week four.
Players we particularly like on this team include Jamison Crowder and David Njoku. We have both these guys ranked ahead of where they are typically being drafted.
Bottom line:
With great inseason management, we think you have about a 70 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With good inseason management, we think you have about a 55 percent chance of making the playoffs.
With average inseason management, we think you have a 34 percent chance of making the playoffs.

I found this interesting, they saw Alex Smith as my starter
I drafted Rivers in the ninth round and Smith with my last pick
I know Smith surprised by finished #4 last year, but I’m not expecting that again obviously.
Rivers finished #8, only 20 points behind Smith, and I actually think he can approach top 5 this year. I plan on him being my weekly starter unless Smith looks great to start the season and has a clear A matchup.
With that defense and all the weapons around him now, even without Henry, I actually think LA could make a SB run this year and Rivers is going to have everything come together in what should be a great season.
Also, for the McKinnon question:

We have Alex Smith rated #9 among quarterbacks, which makes him a less-than-stellar starter in this league. But we like the selection of our #13-rated QB, Philip Rivers, to go with him. Hopefully between the two of them, you should be able to cobble together some good production at the position, but this strategy always carries with it the downside that you'll drive yourself crazy trying to decide who to start from week to week.
Incidentally, these two have a terrific combined schedule and a decent playoff schedule too. If you simply played the one with the better matchup each week, this is the schedule you'd face:
KC | IND | GB | SF | OAK | CLE | TEN | NYG | ATL | TB | HOU | DAL | PHI | NYG | KC | TEN
Also, for the McKinnon question:
quote:
Nice work here. We like both your starting running backs, as our projections indicate that they give you a combined 5.3 point-per-game advantage over an average opponent in this league. Our projections have Ezekiel Elliott ranked third and Jerick McKinnon ranked at #13.

Yeah, this year put the "slow" in slow draft.
We were close to going on a roll a few times, but usually ended up just one person away.

A week isn't bad at all for a 12 team league. We haven't had anyone go all day. Some of these leagues have people that you know aren't going to pick or let you know when they will.

Not complaining. But was definitely longer than last year. I slow draft here and M/TV league. No issues with either. M/TV we have a GroupMe and already have #'s for texting so goes pretty quick on clicky, but still a few days.
