Angels manager Mike Scioscia said Kendrys Morales (ankle) could be ready to play in Cactus League games by the middle of the week. Morales ran the bases in spikes Sunday for the first time this spring and evidently didn't have any issues. Scioscia also added that the designated hitter "absolutely" can be ready to play at start of season. If he has no setbacks, he should get most of the at-bats in the DH slot this season and is an intriguing option in fantasy leagues.

i think they moved it like 10' in most spots. Wright is an enigma. Could be great, could shite the bed.

Wright isn't even the one who will benefit the most from the smaller dimensions.

Davis and Duda will be the main benefactors

A dramatic change will occur in right-center, which had measured 415 feet from home plate. The new depth is expected to be 390 feet -- a 25-foot reduction. That should particularly benefit third baseman David Wright, whose natural power is to right-center.

I'm with you on Duda; kid can stroke.

I'd keep him in a 12 player keeper.

do you think the most dramatic change was made for Duda and Davis? Yes it will help Davis but do you really think they were factoring Duda in thought process? I can't link radio interviews but this "dramatic" change was made to make D Wright happy and hopefully improve his power numbers at home...and Reyes not being a part of the Mets also played a big factor in the changes
