why would i propose the same exact deal twice
i started it with "what if", which generally means im upping the ante in trade talks

Typical TBM tactic to say "what if" and then offer the same exact trade. IMO.

Yeah, you were offering the 24th, right? I said he was offering just a pick higher. That's the pick I got, the 23rd. I see what you are saying about the round. I was mixed up. I was saying that his pick was only 1 spot ahead of yours. And reading that, it looks like you said carp or espinosa. If I would have known it was both, I would have instantly accepted and not taken Jews deal. Oh well.

its not a big deal, i thought in the context of the conversation it was obvious it was a direct counter to what Jew was offering. prob should have worded it clearer

Yeah he is always straight forward, I just misunderstood. Sucks. Would have helped me. I like the deal w/ Jew but for sure would have taken lester's offer.

it wasn't perfectly clear
contextually I thought it was pretty clear that i was upping my offer. I can see that if he was on his phone and busy how it would not be clear.
