I disagree

I wouldn't trade Paps, Perez, or Walden for Espi right now...rather roll with RT

that's silly. my 4 closers have more saves than yours do

Tejada hits for no power, nor does he steal bases. HAs never even been a good minor league hitter. Obvious he is playing over his head. GLTY

And a much cleaner delivery. A couple buddies of mine are orthopedic surgeons and they cringe every time Strasburg throws. As long as Strasburg is healthy he'll be one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball. The Nationals tried to modify his delivery and he said Hell No.

MLBN had a interesting segment the other day Stras vs Moore who you would take long term. 2/3 of the talking heads agreed on Moore, citing Stras's violent delivery & the fact that Moore is a LHP.

10.2 straight scoreless innings for Teheran w/ 11Ks, he's back.
Hopefully he doesn't end up being a 4A guy.

I wish Teheran would develop a 2-seam fastball. His 4-seam is pitching machine straight. His changeup is one of the best though. Once the deuce comes around he'll be a good one. No worries with him IMO.

Redd asked me the same thing yesterday so he's being a smart arse about it.

I don't know a ton about him. I do know he operates with a lot of deception, so he'll probably succeed immediately. His long-term sustainability may be the question, but unlike Collmenter (another deception guy) he has better stuff. He's not the sexiest prospect around, but he'll probably do rather well. He was a good off-the-radar snag.

Reimold is killing lefties. I'd start him against all lefties for sure. I'll never forget when he first came up, he killed a Mariano Rivera cutter. Keep in mind that he was bothered with injuries last year so while he will not maintain this pace, he's certainly better than what he showed last year. For a league this size I think he's a definite asset. I'm sure the rest of the crowd has an opinion as well.

You seen walker pitch at AA yet? His stuff is devastating but they will take it slow with him with hultzen/paxton.

Oh yeah. I have him in a dynasty league. Very excited about him. He's tall with a very good downward plane on a mid 90's fastball and also has an above average curve. He's one of those guys that can blow you away and induces a ton of ground balls (he had a G/F approaching 2.0 last year). There's a reason Seattle ditched Pineda (aside from the injury risk). They have as shitload of talented pitchers coming up. I've read that Hultzen is ready now. Just needs some polishing. Some of y'all may remember Paxton from his Kentucky days. Higher ceiling than Hutlzen, but not higher than Walker IMO.

Walker's curve will be one of the best pitches in baseball in a couple years. He's having no problems in AA so far.

Have to love him pitching in Safeco as well.

I think Seattle will start making some noise in the next couple of years.

They don't have much in the way of hitting besides Montero, Franklin, and Catricala. Who knows how long it'll take the last two to be up.

Ackley will be a great player, but Ichiro won't last much longer and Smoak is an enigma. A switch hitter with that much power to opposite field from both sides of the plate should not be hitting under .250

Adding 15 or so games against the Astros every season can't hurt.
