No but it gives you a slight insight in things to come. I'm not dogging him just making a note. If anyone throws him a fastball in the zone, they should be slapped.

I drafted him with the assumption that there would be growing pains. I have plenty of ammo on offense to stash him when he quits getting fastballs altogether.

He's got a big-boy bat, but he will go through an adjustment phase. I'm actually surprised at his immediate power. From what I understand he played in a league that was the equivalent of A+. He has a bright future though and his power will not be limited by that ballpark.

Berry compared him to Wily Mo Pena with job security and a little bit more power, which may be pretty dead on.

I prob lost that trade in the short run but I really like lawrie. I tried to pry him from ce in the offseason and he didn't have any interest in moving him. I figured he'd be more willing to deal bruce but I offered more for bruce and he turned it down

I think its well documented how i feel about untested prospects, so its a risk but his ceiling is pretty high.
