So he trades 2 of his keepers for a player taken in the 6th round.
rmc took Manny Ramirez and Chris ianetta before Rizzo was even drafted. 2 days in

Remember when McCain actually was competitive in these things
Now he should just drop one of the C's from his screen name.

Sweet, my boy B Butler is gonna get time at 1B in interleague games. Should help him retain eligibility there for at least another season.

I'll be content with his career averages if he doesn't take the next step.

Not many players have been as productive as him before the age of 25.

I'd like to see him go 25/100 this year.
Posted on 3/23/12 at 4:30 pm to GynoSandberg
Last 3 years
18.3 HR
88.7 RBI
I'll take that from a UTIL bat who is also a young guy who I think is still improving.
ETA: He's now getting a lot more help from guys around him. His RBI and R should both continue to climb.

Diamondbacks optioned RHP Trevor Bauer to Double-A Mobile

Bauer impressed in D-Backs' camp by posting a 3.60 ERA and 9/1 K/BB ratio over 10 innings, but it was always the most sensible move to give him some more seasoning, especially now that it appears Josh Collmenter is healthy. However, last year's No. 3 overall pick figures to make an impact in the majors very soon.
