he just traded Ackley, Jennings, and Hudson...three guys he likely wasnt keeping for Prado, Kemp, and Morrow.

Looks to me like he looking to consolidate again

that makes sense

he has 3 good starters already without Hudson

but why add Morrow?

looking at his roster no shot he keeps him

He now has pieces to move for picks or consolidate

I'm satisfied with what I've been able to do so far this offseason.

I took:
Adrian Beltre
Neil Walker
JA Happ
Miguel Montero
Wade Davis
Howie Kendrick
Scott Rolen
Magglio Ordonez
8th Round pick

and turned it into:
Colby Rasmus
Ian Kinsler
Daniel Hudson
5th Round pick
6th Round pick

Well, the Beltre/8th for Rasmus/6th trade is a pretty even swap, imo.

The Walker/Happ for a 5th trade was REAL early in the game when Honk was looking for young options as keepers.

The Kinsler for Montero/Kendrick/Wade Davis trade was also early in the game when the market value on guys hadnt really been set yet.

The Morrow for Rolen/Ordonez deal was one where I just threw an offer out there and it stuck. I didn't think I would be able to turn Morrow into someone like Hudson tbh, and was pretty set on keeping him.

kinsler is projected for 15 HR and 69 RBI's and thats with 140 games, which would be like a fricking career record.
