but why add Morrow?

because i was not getting any interest in Hudson, yet had discussions with others concerning Morrow

Hudson became expendible after I acquired Kemp and Prado

in my talks, i decided that Morrow would be easier to move for picks than Hudson

not necessarily fair based upon their MLB production, but i'm just going with what I observed.

i would have inquired about him. you never pimped him on here

i don't even put any stock on people's OTB on CBS because people list their whole frickin team and don't even say what they are looking for.

this just in- no one is trading for Trevor Crowe, Roger Bernadina, Doug Davis, Ryan Kalish, or Jose Tabata

News: Minnesota RP Joe Nathan said Sunday that he threw 88-89 MPH and touched 91 three times during his bullpen session, reports the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Nathan is expected to head to spring training with the hope that he'll be able to regain the closer job for the Twins.

Analysis: Nathan converted 246 saves between 2004-09 while posting a 1.87 ERA. It appears that he will be ready for the start of the regular season but Fantasy owners should keep tabs on him during spring training to make sure. The Twins have Matt Capps to close out games if Nathan is not ready to go, but the right-hander is the preferred option. Consider Nathan as a must-start Fantasy RP, when healthy, worthy of taking in the early-to-middle rounds on Draft Day.

Morales cleared by doctors

Kendry Morales, 1B ANA
News: Angels 1B Kendry Morales, whose season came to an abrupt end in May last season because of a broken left leg, has been cleared by doctors to partake in full baseball activities. Manager Mike Scioscia told the Los Angeles Times that Morales isn't running at full strength and will be held out of defensive drills for a week or two in camp. "We want to get his running where it needs to be," Scioscia said. "He's made a tremendous amount of progress, but he's not quite running at 100 percent."

Ozzie wants Rios to run more
Alex Rios, CF CHW
News: The Sports Xchange reports White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said that he would like to see Alex Rios be more aggressive on the base paths in 2011. Rios had 34 stolen bases in 2010, which was second on the team behind Juan Pierre's 68.
Analysis: Rios had the first 20-20 and 20-30 campaign of his career last year. Now, it seems Ozzie is pushing for 20-40 and probably would think Rios is capable of a 30-40 season. If he is, then Rios could be on the verge of being an elite Fantasy OF. For now, we will hedge our bets. Rios is in a good situation with the White Sox, with plenty of lineup protection. View him as a top 20 Fantasy OF on Draft Day.

I might just compete in SB-CS this year.

With the trade of SP Shaun Marcum to Milwaukee in the offseason, Toronto SP Ricky Romero is prepared to take the reins as the ace of the Blue Jays' pitching staff. Romero turned in a solid second campaign in 2010 and established career highs in wins (14), strikeouts (174), innings pitched (210) and posted a solid 3.73 ERA. Romero also held his own against opponents in the tough AL East and finished with a 6-3 record against division foes, including a spotless 3-0 mark against Baltimore. Romero also posted a decent 1.29 WHIP, down from 1.52 in his rookie season.

News: MLB.com reports Indians manager Manny Acta was very happy with what he saw on Saturday from center fielder Grady Sizemore, who is working his way back from June microfracture surgery on his left knee. "It was very nice to see Grady on the field for the first time," Acta said. "He was like a kid with a new toy. It was very good. He swung the bat really good -- it was impressive."
