Feel like both teams improved in that trade. Yes guys, that is possible.
Rondo filled a position need without losing control of another position. Crawford will beast in Boston this year, especially in the runs and sb departments. Alexei is shady, but a better option than Tabata for sure, and now he won't get stuck with Paul Janish as his SS. He also improved his draft status a good bit.
Knat gets some extra powa in his lineup and still has Gardner to handle up on steals.
Win-win, IMO.

so he filled a position of need by gaining Ramirez at the expense of losing Cabrera? I am not even sure Ramirez is a keeper.
on the other hand he piled on with steals. Crawford is an outstanding player, and I like Rios and BJ Upton for what they are, but by adding Crawford to his team, their(Upton/Rios) value to his team cheapens dramtically.
and like McCain did the other day, he had the leverage and still got talked into throwing in a higher pick(3rd round in both cases). The biggest thing NOBES got in the trade was the pick, yet he cheapened that as well by giving a 3rd back

and i wouldnt keep any of those 6
shite at least desmond has a little upside and steals a few bags
but just because someone is keeping trash, it doesnt make another equitable player keepable
