It allows them to much more easily control the lazy portion of their voter base, while conservatives don't need it because their base doesn't need to be constantly reminded to vote

it's easier. I had to absentee this year, but I heard early voting has been extremely quick and I'm sure it will cause lines to shorten up today across the country. Mail in ballots shouldn't happen anymore if you live in the district you vote in.
