The KY Democrat party just filed a motion to extend Jefferson county (Louisville) polls to 8PM.

This does nothing to change the overall vote in KY, but if they get their way, the results from KY won't start trickling in until after 8PM EST

There were multiple locations with voting machine issues all morning. Doesn’t surprise me.

I can’t wait to watch the Louisville subreddit melt tonight

They do this every election. They must be worried about both amendments passing.

Yes, this is all about Amendment 2 I would imagine.

To add context, as a couple of posters have added, there's an important amendment up for vote this year in KY. Amendment 2 would allow private and home schools to be taxpayer funded.

Waited in line 1.5 hours to cast my vote in Louisville (Jefferson County) this morning. Very poorly run operation.

Got my vote in for Trump and voted yes on Amendment 2.

I don't get keeping the polls open due to issues, as long as you are in line by closing time you are allowed to vote.

I heard the local news say if you are in line before 6 you will still be able to vote.
