As I was voting this morning. I cast my vote for President, then moved on to Senate, Amendments, etc. When I completed the amendments, I looked over to check my votes over. My presidential vote had been removed.
I unchecked everything, pulled out my phone to record it, processed it a second time, and it worked properly.

From a user perspective it worked, I hope I didn't need to do it a third time to ensure no funny stuff on the back end.

My neighbor had the same thing happen. I don't think it is a fraud issue, more likely a poorly calibrated machine.

I'm of the opinion that for every vote cast, two receipts should be printed. One for the voter, and another anonymous copy for backup. The backups should be used in the event of a recount. Electronic machines are great until they are wrong. Then its a mess to sort out. I know it would cost more, but I think it is a justifiable expense to protect election integrity.

100000000% agree. there is no way to audit it after the fact if funny business were to happen. Your vote would literally just be removed from the tally.

Don't select the straight ticket option. And double/triple check before you submit.
