I'm Most Excited That Nate Silver Is Finally Discredited

Ok maybe not the most excited
But I mean he was considered the end all be all on polling and he was so dead wrong. He of course was saying "I said there was a 25% chance" but certainly this wasn't even the path he was projecting in that 25%.

Actually, of all the big prognosticators, he gave Trump the best chance.
All the other models were showing Hillary 95, 99%, he had it at 75%.

I just do not understand this thinking. If people will look at what right-leaning pollsters and analysts are saying, many are praising Silver for bucking the idea that Trump didn't have a shot. It definitely puts the entire industry in question, but Nate Silver isn't one that especially deserves a lot of scorn IMO.
Nate takes polls and gives weight to them. That's it. Trump's folks last night said their internals were off too.

Good lord why do people keep saying this? That poll was a popular vote poll and had him up by several points. He's gonna lose the popular vote. It was one of the most inaccurate.
