Trump voters don't want him to invest in inner-city schools and the inner-city. That's why they voted for him. He got no votes from the inner-city. He won't do anything for the inner-cities and his voters are fine with that.

Why must blacks need special/preferred treatment?

They have been here longer than asians, indians (dot), and a lot of hispanics.

Those latter groups don't seem to have a problem figuring out how to get by.

How about we just stop pandering to blacks and women and just tell people this This is America ... Stand on Your Own Feet.

(Plenty of blacks and women do this ... it starts with a proper upbringing. This is not Trump's job.)

I personally am fine with it because I do believe in punishing my political enemies once I have consolidated sufficient political power to inflict that punishment.

He ran on this platform in part. He reached out to blacks and asked for a chance. He mentioned inner cities again last night during his speech.

Blacks, hispanics, etc... are growing faster as a percentage of the population than whites. Ignore this at your own peril.

Need to figure out a way to make a difference without adding in more social programs. An extra $50 a month in social programs for a family in the inner city does not affect their life at all. A job or a better education does.

Some of you guys don't seem to understand what the opportunity here really is. Make a positive change in people's lives you don't have to worry about blacks voting 95%.

Luckily Trump seems to understand it.

If Trump did make that promise to the AA community, he should try to fulfill that promise. Just because some people think that it will be a total waste of his time should not dissuade him for trying to fulfill that promise.

But I promise you this: no matter how successfully Trump may fulfill his promise, the mass media, academia, AA politicos and all other constituents of the Democrat Party will never give him credit for this success. NEVER. As long as he knows this going in, he should try to fulfill his promise notwithstanding.

How do you figure?

Do you know how many black babies have been aborted thanks to Dem policies?

Hispanics ... no shite.

Muslims ... no shite.

Blacks? umm...no ... I don't think so.

The Dems are simply trying to replace blacks with hispanics as their preferred pets. Blacks are the ones that better wake the frick up.

Trump needs to give blacks, hispanics, women, men, etc... of all races a legitimate reason to support him next time. Do what he said he would do. Invest in inner cities schools, invest in inner city infrastructure, and bring jobs and hope for families back. Don't care how or why some of the inner cities have ended up the way they are... does not matter at this point... time to reach a hand out and give them progress through something other than another social program. Social programs just don't work very well.

"Will blacks vote for a Republican ?" should not be a legitimate question next election. They ought to have legitimate choices in both parties. We have a great shot to break the alliance between blacks and democrats that has been based on largely false promises, little results, and claims that Repubs are racist by the Dems.

Actions speak much louder than false promises and simple words. Give them a reason to support Republicans by making positive changes in those communities.

Make it happen President Trump.

YES!!! I said this 10 minutes after PA was called. We have a chance to win over the black vote with REAL hope and REAL change. Work to heal black families and provide good jobs.

I've always believed it was NUTS for a black American to NOT be a Republican. Whatever the past... it's time to welcome the black community back to the party that has fought for them since the beginning of our forming.
