Literally describe the color of every article of clothing he was wearing, almost like color is used as a distinctive marker to differentiate items....or people. Wonder why they didn't include his color, when doing it would eliminate 80% of people matching the other descriptors.

They don't want to "offend" that 1% of people who would see the article and harass them about "Why do you have to make it about skin color?"
So, about that.... yeah, the description is gonna need more details. Don't want what's a large percentage of people described in height and build getting tackled unnecessarily.

Well except that "white male" seems to be pretty prevalent in HEADLINEs - even when it is a Hispanic or an Arab
