Hanna spelled backwards is Annah
That's the rumored storyline for season 3

I watched the first episode and felt like it was made for high school kids. Decided to watch Season 3 of Absentia instead. Will probably come back to it, to see if it is worth watching more.
I loved the movie and liked Season 1.

Without giving away any spoilers, I would say similar enough that if you liked the movie you will like the first season. But different enough that you won’t feel like you’re rewatching something you’ve already seen.
The biggest difference to me is Hanna in the movie is almost like a robot, while she’s much more human in the series. She’s a teenage girl and has flaws. A lot of this is due to the additional character development you get with a series format.
I really liked season 1. Season 2 was OK. Worth watching but not perfect. It felt kind of disjointed from the end of season 1 because of some not-so-subtle personality shifts for quite a few characters. Kind of seems like they had no idea where season 2 would go when they wrote season 1.
