Asking for a friends camp mid island

The wife had the local weather channel on and it was showing video of Grand Isle and it wasn't bad at all.
The guys were in the back of a pick-up and it looked like there was about 1 ft. of water around the camps from what I could see and they were driving down the roadway doing the interview.

Was that early this morning or something?
I've seen some facebook post and it looked kind of bad to me, but I'm not familiar with how Grand Isle normally looks during storms. One person commented that it's been a long arse time since they saw the water that high.

I’m on tropical which is past sureway. We had 26” under camp at high tide. It’s down about 8” right now. The beach near bridge is damaged pretty bad.

On Neptune? Got about 5” over slab towards end. Came over levee in back around 8am and quickly inundated the area back to hwy 1.

We got 8 inches downstairs
Nothing terrible but that’s the most we’ve had in a several years

Little worried about my golf cart. Couldn’t get there to bring it back.

She had it on in the bedroom around 3 or 4 this afternoon. I assume it was a live shot.
