Ziggys Compilation Mod

Here's a compilation mod that I recommend you check out. It makes going through the game again a hell of a lot more fun; I'm enjoying it more than my first play-through. You also get to skip the intro and start at the scene where you first wake up to Dennis.

Also, I'm sure most of you are familiar with the Nexus mod sites, so feel free to check out the other mods listed. I've found myself replaying FC3 with mods instead of moving onto titles I haven't touched yet (Dead Space 2, Hitman, AC:III, etc.). Check it out if you haven't.

Interesting. I'll have to try it when I'm done with my first playthrough... if I ever decide to finish. Getting boring.

I was thinking about getting a far cry, is it worth the buy?

I thought it was a very enjoyable game even running it vanilla. The mods create an entirely new, and more fun, experience IMO. Definitely worth it, IMO.

I've been running the game, with any mod I try, at Ultra at 1900x1200 on a super-clocked EVGA GTX 570 with no frame issues. I don't see why you would have a problem.

It isn't a frame rate issue per performance. It is a VRAM bottleneck. I can't run some cyrsis 2 mods at 1440 because they spike above 2gb. It is rare but I'm sure this mod with cry engine 3 will spike above 2gb at 1440 also.

When u hit above the VRAM cap it brings you down to 1-5fps. Really unplayable.

I don't see where the mod added any graphics to the game that would make you think it will spike the vram above the normal game. I might have missed something though.

I lol that my $370 7970 can run it flawlessly. Though I'm at 60Hz 1440p...
