I'm all for favoring a diverse candidate when the stars align (Franklin or Aranda here), but Tucker is not half as qualified as some of the other candidates being thrown around. He's 14-12 as a HC in college and 9-5 at MSU. Hiring him at this point is marginally more logical than the initial decision to hire O. I'm not. a Napier guy, but it is laughable how some of you cast Napier about because he has only had success at ULL yet salivate over Tucker's inexperience.

Michigan State has the tough end of their schedule coming up, if you’re right then they’ll lose 3+ games down the stretch and he won’t be in the mix
If you’re wrong they’ll finish 11-1 or so and he’ll deserve a look

If they lose only one of the remaining games then I agree give the guy a look. But at this point the hype is unjustified.

I don’t want Tucker and I hate you for making me defend him.
The dude has a fantastic resume. He can fricking coach. Probably needs another year or two at Michigan State before making a bigger move.
Has all his tough games remaining. He’s a coach to monitor and see how he finishes.
