He tries so hard to act like gruff and grumpy like Lasorda (who I also couldn’t stand). I think it was said quite a bit on here after Taylor somehow got through that inning against the Dodgers that the downside would be that Dusty thought he made a good decision. Well here we are.

On three different occasions I have said that the Astros will not win a playoff series with frick Off, Dusty Baker as Manager.
All three times I was overwhelmingly down voted.

We're fricked. We're beyond mother fricking fricked. Thank God the A's keep losing or else we're more fricked. I honestly would not be surprised whatsoever if we still don't win the division and miss the playoffs altogether. We have the 3rd easiest schedule in baseball the rest of the season, yet we can never ever ever beat a garbage team below .500.

The only saving grace is that IF the Astros make the playoffs, they'll go up against a good team, which greatly increases the chances of winning.
