Hopefully Ronk can chime in but lespedeza is taking over my neighbors centipede lawn. We had no luck earlier in the year with Celsius and some stuff I read from Mississippi State says MSM is better at controlling. Is it safe in this heat for MSM? Would it be more effective if I mixed MSM/Celsius? If so, how much?

Msm/Celsius is better. That is what I will use if I have troublesome weeds. If may yellow the grass for a couple weeks but usually not bad.

How many ounces or grams of each in a 4 gallon backpack sprayer? I’m using a teejet red fan nozzle calibrated for 1 gallon per 1k.

24D does real well on lespedeza for me in centipede. I just spot sprayed about a week ago and it’s all pretty much dead. With all the rain temps have been under 90 for me. The centipede should recover.

My Celsius fill chart is in the Celsius thread and my post history or searching msm should bring up my other fill chart.

Thanks Ronk, I’ll find it. I thought you might reduce the amounts due to combining but I guess not.

Nope. Since none of the herbicides from Celsius and msm are from different families I use the same rate

Thanks everyone for the help. I mixed the Celsius, MSM Turf, and surfactant according the the fill chart. I sprayed several patches of lespedeza this evening and will monitor to make sure its not too strong.
