Trim tabs on a 20' Tahoe deck boat

What's the OB's opinion and experience with trim tabs?
When used correctly are they worth the $ and will it help the boat's ride and performance going thru big wakes or high chop?
My wife's new to boating and hates riding thru big boat wakes and choppy water in the lake. Don't bother me one bit. If they help I'll get some installed; other than that she'll have to get used to it and suck it up

When I added them to my old Wellcraft the difference was night and day.
Before the tabs, the sharp edge of the bow would ride high out of the water. Chop would hit the bottom of the boat making for an awful ride. With the tabs I can now easily lower the sharp entry of the bow right into the chop and cut through rough seas.
I have hydraulic Bennett tabs. If I did it over again I'd go electronic as it's a little less complicated of a system in my opinion.

I cant imagine any situation where they wouldn't help on any boat. Worth the $? Depends on the boat.

Check out Smart Tabs by Nauticus. They may serve your purpose. Very economic.
You may want powered ones to drive the bow down more.
These worked well on a 20 foot Carolina Skiff for me.
