Abbott didn’t specifically say a wall. You gotta watch him. He said a border “barrier” which may be something the illegals can get through pretty easily.

That is certainly the case. The claim was though that Biden wasn't enforcing border security, not that he wasn't enforcing it at the same rate as the Trump administration. If he wasn't enforcing it, there'd be little to no apprehensions. Did y'all even read the post I responded to?

I don't mind border security at all. I've said it's all theater though. Abbott doesn't seem to care if illegals build everything in his own backyard. Including the concrete ramps the political pandering little sucker uses to get over curbs.

Oh, that's right. There was already a GoFundMe set up for a border wall that brought in millions that was, of course, stolen and resulted in criminal prosecution.

Isn't the texas/mexico border the Rio Grande for the entire length? So are they going to build a fence in the river or on the US bank? just curious

Probably on the US side of the bank for the most part.
In a perfect world, we'd have tight border security enforced by both the US and Mexico, with as many checkpoint crossings as possible. I'd like to see the northern part of Mexico industrialize if we can do it.

Something else happened when Biden took over and I'm not exactly sure if it's his admin or something else.
But we started getting flooded with illegal immigrants under the age of 17 in the past few months. Maybe they thought Biden would grant them amnesty given his campaign rhetoric?
