CVA Cascade Rifle

Just bought a CVA Cascade in 6.5CM for my 14 y/o. He picked it over a Ruger, Savage, etc. Anyone have experience with this rifle. It seems pretty nice for the price ($600)...

I honestly thought CVA just made muzzleloaders.

I think they’re a Spanish company these days.

Maybe Columbian? It seems like it was them, that made a Nylon 66 copy that I saw a few years ago.

No that wasn't right, I looked it up, that was a brzilian company called CBC.
Reading about CVA it looks like they are owned by Bergara and built in Bergara, Spain. I guess The CVA Bolt action rifles are meant to be economy versions?

I don’t own one but from what I’ve read they get pretty good reviews. They have Bergara barrels and are guaranteed to shoot MOA like most companies these days.

Not familiar with the Cascade but I have a CVA Scout in 35 whelen great rifle for the price. Sturdy, shoots well, relatively lightweight
