Adam Clayton is very underrated as a bass player. Always a strong sound in U2's music.

Hated all of U2 equally since their inception. Never liked SJW’s.

Never said I was being objective, it is my mostly subjective opinion that the Edge sucks as a musician and maybe as a person. Like you said, his stuff is simple and loaded up on effects. It's not guitar playing, it's digital manipulation. In the doc with Jimmy and Jack, he didn't even know how to play Kashmir. What kind of guitarist can't play Kashmir? A shitty one.
