I need to be better about finding out when Saints games are replaying on NFL Network. Working from home because flooding and just flipped to the last few minutes of 1990 Saints vs. Bucs. Saints up 35-7.

Yeah that AstroTurf blows my mind any time I watch old games. Looks even weirder in HD when the colts and rams were still playing on it in like 2004.

I’m watching it. Such great memories of the Dome Patrol when I was in high school. Ironhead Hayward was just running over people. Toi Cook with an almost pick six.
Lots of shots of Tom Benson in the owners suite. I recognized former Senator John Breaux with him in the suite.

I went to the 1987 NO-TB game and even at six years old I knew I was watching something special.
The Saints were up 44-10 and the final ended up being 44-34. There was a power surge in third quarter and the game was delayed by about 30 minutes. It was wild inside the Superdome. One of the loudest games I’ve ever been to.
