I was looking through the top-100 for 2021 after the commitment today and noticed his name.
I don’t follow basketball recruiting much except the info I get from here when guys are about to commit. Were we in on him? His dad had a good career at LSU, so I was surprised to see him committed to Auburn.

We recruited him I know. We’re in top 4 or 5. Just lost out

He has spent his entire life in Georgia, and wanted to stay relatively close. So it was always going to be Georgia or Auburn. You get Pearl v. Crean in a recruiting battle.... no contest.

My recollection is that he wanted to visit LSU but never got the chance bcuz of Covid. He had visited UGA and Auburn multiple times. Very skilled player. Should have a great career.

The dunk against southern was a better dunk, but the one against Arizona straight blew the roof off
