Committing a Coup with fraudulent evidence, creating fake news, and lying to the FBI is OK.

In unrelated news, Emily Rose Grover and her mother, Laura Rose Carroll, were just hired by Dominion Voting Systems.

I’m betting the charges aren’t so much related to the prom queen voting as hacking a BOE computer system.

Hacking a government network is a serious crime, though I agree that the punishment doesn't fit the crime in question. I doubt they get serious jail time. If they do then we are living in a clown world.

Funny thing is why would they even think to look at the possibility of it being hacked for a prom outcome

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) began investigating the incident in November 2020 after the school district reported unauthorized access into hundreds of student accounts.

Yeah, either TS is either retarded or he didn't read the article.

The egregious double-standards are deliberate. It's how they show you how much power they have over you.

Well let's not ignore the idiot mother deserves to be in serious trouble for hacking into a database full of hundreds of kids' personal information...

But your point still stands.

I thought the same thing.
It’s not like these 2 chicks REALLY hacked a network.

They didn't hack the network, people use the term hack far too frequently when it isn't even remotely what happened.

The mother had legitimate access and the mother and daughter both abused that access to do things like modify the vote in the daughters favor as well as the daughter using it for her own purposes like viewing private information. The daughter had been abusing her mother's access for at least 4 years.

This is what they are charged with:

Carroll and her daughter each face one count each of: (1) offenses against users of computers, computer systems, computer networks, and electronic devices; (2) unlawful use of a two-way communications device; (3) criminal use of personally identifiable information; and (4) and conspiracy.

Isn't this also where the mother daughter rigged the cheerleader captain vote?

What? Law enforcement making ridiculous stretches in order to get a long sentence? It’s my biggest beef with those people.

But it wasn't hacking. The mother was a principal and used her access to change votes. Its misuse of a system, which is certainly a fireable offense, but I don't believe its criminal.
