Has anyone played the course. Have a couple of days in June and thinking about trying it out.
If not, where around that area would you suggest.

im staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek this weekend & debating playing at the Waldorf or one of the Disney courses. A friend who lives in Orlando says that the Waldorf is currently in great shape. He also said the best value would be to drive to play Orange County National. Still not sure what I am going to do. Waldorf is twice as expensive ss the others.

The Disney courses are always in great shape but they're way overpriced and usually a 5+ hour round. The only time I play them is when I'm with a Disney employee for the cast member price. Drive down the street to OCN, tell them you're an orange county resident when you make your tee time to get the cheaper rate. I've never had them ask for my ID to actually verify residency.

I like it a lot. WA is usually great shape. Thought it was a challenging layout, but fair.
Disney courses are fun. Pricey, but almost always in great shape.
Agree with other post. Orange County National has 36 holes + a 9 hole short course. Panther Lake is a PGA qualifying course that is one of my favorites. Crooked Cat is a nice compliment to it. Practice facility is hard to beat.
Falcons Fire is great.
Southern Dunes
If you have the time and money, look into Streamsong.
Disney courses are fun. Pricey, but almost always in great shape.

Played there and Disney's Lake Buena Vista course last week. The WA was $170 and LBV was $80. Both courses were in really good shape. Played early (7:45am) at LBV and got through in right under 4 hours on a Friday morning. WA had hardly any play (Saturday mid-day). The main issue with WA was the bunkers. Absolute joke - standing water in no less than 10 bunkers throughout the course and most were in pitiful shape. Not sure what to make of it but for $170/rd, they should all be in decent/good shape. The fairways and greens were great though. Wind was kicking that day and it has a boatload of water on the course so keep that in mind.

Hawks Landing at the World Center Marriott or Champions Gate are usually good choices.

I'm very surprised by this. Shame.
I'd rather put my money toward the 2 courses at OCN over WA.
