Look, the sport has passed ol' Paul by. He has always had a problem with knowing when to take pitchers out and when to leave them in, and it was clear to anyone watching that his pitchers did not have it in the 8th inning. I get it--he has not put together a competent and dependable group of relief pitchers. But when a pitcher is struggling and the game is on the line, you need to try something else.
