two big takaways between baylor and lsu are that they played really great defense and defending the screens and as another poster noted, they play some isolation but they are constantly moving and cutting. LSU does a couple screens at the top then shoots with players standing and watching

no one ever said that. Iso can work with the right players.

The problem is, if the defense is very good and can stop/slow us down, or if the jumpers aren't falling on a given night, it's good to have other offensive options, including sets with very quick, crisp motion, off-ball screen, and back cutting, to get some easy buckets.

As with any sport, sometimes the preferred offense or defense doesn't work, and you have to go to Plan B or Plan C in real time.
