Racey with a 4.34. Too bad his sample size isn't that big.

Somebody is going to get a steal. NFL QBs will maximize his abilities
100 percent agree... i think he will be very good in the right system... very athletic.. tough... catches well, and runs VERY well after the catch.. i think him and Marshall are very close athletically... racey will be a steal in the 3rd round but he may go in the later rounds because of lack of production in college sadly...but could make lots of money later...

I think Racey struggles in route running and getting separation. Hopefully he goes to a team with great coaching and he can fix this. He has the size and speed.

Joe Burrow couldn’t even maximize Racey’s abilities. He’s a special teams guy. That’s it
It’s almost like he had 3 first round WRs ahead
Of him.......weird

Guys like Gage, McMath, and Chark were athletes coming out of high school not pure WR talents like Jefferson, Chase, and Marshall. While Chark developed into a deep threat ball player that needed to further develop in the NFL, Gage was more at the Russell Shepard stage and needed a couple of years to develop as a slot WR in the NFL.
We might see McMath 3 years later busting out a nice season and going from there.

quote:I don't think they're hand times. I don't know what they are using though. I will say this, both are definitely in the 4.4 range. I saw Marshall's speed well enough last year and saw Chase's well enough in 2019. I remember how so many people wanted to say that Chase was faster than Jefferson in 2019 (although I never thought so), but can't believe he runs a low 4.4 when Jefferson ran a 4.43.
Are these laser or hand timed?
I feel like I’m watching Oprah throw out 4.3s to everybody

He just ran right into the 1st round.
racy McMath measured just as big, actually a little bigger, and ran faster, did he just run himself into the 1st round also? They also look at production, and neither McMath nor Marshall have shown they have 1st round skills or the production, in college to warrant a 1st round pick. Chase moved earlier into the 1st round with his pro day because of what he actually did in college combined with his pro day measurements.

These hand held times won't hold up. They never do. When the combine comes around the times never match up with the hand times.
would have been 4.42 at the combine. So what, still way fast, and faster than people expected.

I think Chase is a top 10 1st round pick, Marshall goes early in the 2nd and McMath is 3rd or 4th round pick (and a steal at that).

Yes and I am saying it's damn near impoosible for a black man or anyone else to make the kind of money they start out with in the NFL
bullshite! There is nothing stopping a young black man from working his arse off, starting a service business, or a software business, or any other kind, and becoming richer than 3/4 of the NFL players. In fact, it’s easier if you’re black because the government is setting aside business for you.

Yep, and no way in hell is he a sub 4.4 guy.
Are pro day times hand timed? They have to be.

He just couldn't break into the top 3, and even with a wide-open offense that limits his chances to get on the field.
And as we have seen, that looks more like Jefferson, Chase and Marshall were just that good, instead of McMath having drawbacks or flaws in his game.
I'm calling it now, he won't fall below the 3rd rd. Carolina will take him then, if he's still there. Brady knows the physical potential.

But: Jefferson ran a 4.41 AT THE COMBINE last year.
We knew he was a good WR, but I was thinking routes, hands and toughness. I NEVER dreamed he had that type of speed.
Is it really that hard to think Chase, Marshall and McMath are faster than Jefferson?
I thought they all were, in 2019.
