Need help watching the game

And preapologies for making another thread on this when it’s certainly been covered before. But the search function sucks and I can’t find any of those old threads.
Short version. I have an ESPN+ account. It is linked to my directv account which includes SEC network. Shouldn’t I then be able to watch material on SEC+ through the watch espn app? For some reason it’s saying the LSU game is not a part of my package and I can’t figure out why. Anybody got any suggestions/insights? Do I need to buy SEC+ separate from my cable SEC network subscription?

No, there should be an option under account settings to link it. I had to do it last weekend.

Mine does that sometimes too.
Just log out of your TV provider on the app and log back in. Sometimes that fixed it and sometimes it doesn't.
It's a crapshoot. ESPN streaming services blow sometimes.

I watch ESPN+ on my Fire Stick but I can't get any of the SECN+ broadcasts. In past years, I was able to watch all SEC games on ESPN's app.
I'll have to try this log off - log in step to see if that works for me. Right now, I've only been able to watch ULL games and that just ain't cuttin' it!
However, it did enable me to watch Brennan Breaux and CJ Willis take on Hal Hughes and his Rice Owls. I called it the "Where Are They Now" game.

Having ESPN+ gets you ESPN+ only. Not SECN. You have to have a cable log in to get access to regular ESPN channels, as well as SECN+ (assuming your cable login in has SECN in their package).
You can watch ULL because they are on ESPN+

I can get SECN through the fire stick and Hulu. Just can’t watch baseball games on SECN+ right now.

I’ve tried that several times but still not getting the games. Error msg says something about tv provider subscription doesn’t have access. They’re wrong because suddenlink absolutely does.

I have the same issue on my fire stick but it works fine on my IPad? When in doubt go with this link

Well, they way you said it, you made it sound like you were wondering why you couldn't watch it on ESPN+.
If you have SECN through Hulu, then log in with your Hulu account on the espn app, and you should have SECN+ (I'm guessing Hulu is an option to select when logging in).

I have cable (old guy) & have to re-authenticate my subscription every time I try to watch SECN+. It’s a pain & I don’t know if it’s a cable provider issue or ESPN. Takes about 2-3 minutes to do this.

Do you re-authenticate through your phone’s settings then go to TV Provider?

You aren't missing a box to remember login and password in one of them? Seems like it's logging you out every time you sign off on one.

I don’t think so. But I don’t look anymore. Just know I need to go through the process. I’ll pay attention this evening. Thanks.
