Recommendations for a Feb mountain Cabin vacation?

The wife’s bday is also Valentine’s Day and for her 40th she wants to go spend about 5 days in a cabin in the mountains type place.
Not to concerned with skiing but snow would be nice which I know there is still plenty of in feb even outside the craziness of this year’s weather but also don’t want to be in long term sub zero temps either which I know may make the snow a hit or miss thing.
Mainly just want to lay around cabin, maybe a private hot tub, good food and drinks etc. some night life but nothing crazy so not looking for a resort type town or anything just quiet cabin getaway.
Assume there are lots of options that would fit the bill in the Missouri Kentucky Tennessee Virginia Carolinas etc but anyone have any places in particular they would recommend. Really open to any state but maybe something close enough to the opry to drive to but not be staying “in town.” Def not locked that though much more interested in the right cabin set up. She just turned 38 this month so got a little time to plan and look around. Thanks for any recommendations.

Looks good. Def on the list. Lot of cabin choices kinda overwhelming looking at them all.

Big fan of Highlands, but just be aware they may not be fully open in February. Most places should be open, but some may still be closed. The place shuts down after New Year's and gradually things re-open as spring approaches.
It definitely hits the good food check box though. Tons of cabin options as well. But there is not much night life there. Ugly Dog is the only bar there, besides the bars in the restaurants. I've had a couple of late nights there, but I've also been told they're closing at 9 before.

yea the cabin options are overwhelming trying to pick the right one. not overly concerned with the night life that would be a minimal part of it anyways.

Yeah it is. I tried to find the cabin my wife and I rented for a long weekend a few years ago that we both loved, and I couldn't find it. Even went back through my emails and couldn't find it.
Rentals with a nice view are very plentiful there if that's your thing. Can;t imagine in February sitting out on the deck enjoying the view anyway.

yea its a gamble I would think never know when a Feb cold front will be terrible cold. Highs 50s lows 30s though is perfect hottub on the deck with a view weather.

Vermont and New Hampshire aren’t bad options if you want to travel that far

Open to pretty much any eastern location. Little more worried about getting to far north in feb and getting to cold to be enjoyable but that’s a risk anywhere at that time i guess.
