Anyone ever played before? I know a few that have, but assume its temporarily shut down because of the virus.. Here's a cool video Skratch made a few years back. Seems like an interesting experience to say the least.

Interested as well. Drove past it when down for a rodeo, and the tee shot over the road looks pretty cool.

I played it about 12 years ago. Pretty unique setup to say the least. You’re only a couple hundred yards from the inmates on some of your shots.

Most have probably already seen this, but EAL made a video a few years back about this place.

You can also play it on PGA 2K21 bc some psychopath paid an online course designer $350+ to have it done.

Wow, talk about some memories!
My father was the warden at Angola when I was in high school and lived there. Looking at that elevated tee, it must have been right by our house. My dad was an avid golfer and since I was going to college on a golf scholarship he got me to give some clinics to some of the trustees. Doubt there was any rehab there lol.
Really sorry I didn't get to play it if it's closed.

I played 9 holes there about 6 or 7 years ago.
Toured death row when DTL was still alive, and met w Billy Cannon long enough to end up donating my old dental chairs to them
Shot 41, IIRC
They kept the course in good shape. We ate in the Warden’s cabin. Had fried catfish from their lake

Played it awesome experience! First tee is wayy up in the air on rattlesnake hill. Tee markers were handcuffs, I believe it closed a few years ago?
