As soon as the game ended against the Rams in the NFCCG, I wanted CSP to announce that he has effectively resigned from the Saints followed by Drew saying that was my last NFL game.

Dropping the mic and essentially telling the NFL to go frack itself.

It was my storybook ending and the NFL game travesty would have been harder to cover up.

We all know the silly rule change by the NFL was Kabuki Theater.

Brees deserved better. He tried to right the NFL screwjob.

Father time got Brees but the NFL and Roger Goodell were the big game hunters that did most of the damage.

I remember reading and watching vids of Brees in San Diego, and when we announced we were signing him, I knew if he got somewhat healthy, we would have a lot more success than we had been - cause that was what we were lacking, was solid QB play.

it was always my hope that we could get to a SB, but given the track record leading up to the signing, i had that skepticism i would never see it. I was so happy and wept when he hoisted the SB trophy, cause I never truly allowed myself to believe i would ever see my Team, my fandom and the fandom of one of the most deserving fanbases in the NFL rewarded with a Lombardy.

from the utmost bottom of my heat - I thank Drew for coming to NO and attaining the success he did, and for providing not only entertainment for so many, but also for helping so many folks in need across LA.

politics and everything else that last year brought up, the may has truly done above and beyond for others - and should be an example for all players to help where they can.

TY Drew, and nothing but the absolute best in whatever you choose to do, and where life takes you. hopefully we will see one of your boys in the black and gold one day.

man - your life must be so miserable that you cannot let go of the trivial shite that doesn't affect you. why not worry about the joke of a college program your a fan of, or get a hobby - or at the very least a BJ from your boyfriend.

This right here is what he should’ve said to any asshat questioning his comments about not kneeling before the flag. Instead he turned tail, apologized for doing nothing wrong, and sold out to the SJW mob. How could he sit there and take shite from these assholes who do absolutely nothing to better their communities or their fellow man except add a virtue signaling hashtag to their Twitter posts bashing him? He’s done more to help people in NO than any sports figure or politician in the city and could’ve defended himself with those facts. Maybe he wouldn't have left without half the fan base losing respect for him.

Your lack of self awareness is astounding. Consider yourself equal to the Twitter mob

I lilve in L.A. and saw all of Reggie Bush's college games, many of them in person. After the Texans passed on Reggie I called my Dad in the Quarter and told him "Reggie just became the man who saved New Orleans."

I was close....

I was on the way to a rugby tournament in Nashville when I heard the news about Brees. Even my wildest dreams never thought it would lead us on the run we went on.

The younger fans today have no idea what this era has truly been like. I’ll never forget it. That homecoming game after Katrina is the greatest sporting event of my life and the run after it was nothing short of remarkable.

And beta cucks like you are whats wrong today. "Trivial shite that doesnt affect you" keep sitting back like a pussy, and see where that gets you in the world. Im a saints season ticket holder, i can say whatever tf I want. Brees laid down to the media and liberal pressure. Glad he is gone, its about 4 yrs past due. Been so tired of watching his nooodle arm lose us games in playoffs we shoupd have won

man, the energy changed the moment we signed him. So many people suddenly got hope...then a few weeks later we learned that the Texans weren't drafting Bush and the Saints hype went through the roof. Season tickets sold out immediately.

Once we signed him, it’s what made me get my season tickets. My dad had them for about 12 years during the dome patrol days but gave them up during the end of Hasletts era. I remember calling the sales and asking what’s available, and was told I could sit anywhere I wanted almost 30k were available. Crazy to think that now. And then once we got Bush, they sold out.
One of my biggest life regrets was not buying like 10 additional tix....
