Eh, the swamp was bigger than DJT I think that has been proven.
But his people still need to make a living so I don't fault him much for that. He gets to go back to being a rich dude, his staffers don't have the same safety net.

I don't understand this one at all.
Biden was undoubtedly going to do this when he got in office. So why do it? It just looks bad.

What few non-establishment, America first people are left out that might can get elected in some form or fashion to serve in DC are gonna need allies in the swamp. Maybe Trump just felt like giving some of his former staff members a chance to immediately find jobs in it if they wanted since his days are over. Hell maybe it will break up the food chain and cause some infighting amongst the inhabitants eventually. It doesn’t look like the swamp is going to be drained at all, so add an invasive species to the ecosystem.
