Are you enjoying your little trolling outing on TD this morning?

Pretty pathetic really

Rather trade him to Atlanta. I think they need a PG over there with Dunn out and Trae playing horrible. Huerter might be the odd man out when Gallinari and Bognan returns.

Not starting a new thread, but i think it's obvious Bonzo needs to go, and we need a stretch big coming back.

Kira/Bledsoe should be our PG's.
NAW/Redick are the SG's
BI/Hart the SF's
Zion the PF, Melli is worthless.
Adams/Hayes the 5's.

Potential Bonzo trade targets.

Doug McDermott - in his last year and we'd need to take back someone else like McConnell or Holiday. Not sure how Bonzo would fit in with the Pacers and their wealth of back court players. If we could do something like Bonzo and our two best 2nds for McDermott/McConnel Indy 1st, that would be ideal. Gives us a backup pg as well as the ability to resign McDermott, which we should b/c he is a better shooting Mirotic and exactly what we need.

Harrison Barnes - He isn't really a 4, but close enough. Bonzo/Celtics 1st to Kings, Redick to Celtics, Barnes/Ojeleye/Kings 2nd to Pelicans.

Danilo Gallinari - is 32, makes $20M next year, and has only $5M gauranteed the following year. I'm not a huge fan of it b/c of his injury history, but when healthy he'd be a great addition at the 4 for us. This would need to be a similar scenario where Redick goes into celtics TPE.

PJ Washington - 2nd year in the league and already proving he's a good 3 point shooter. Hornets can absorb Bonzo's salary, giving us a good bit of extra breathing space there.
or
Bonzo/Monk/Hornets 1st/Pels 1st to Kings
Bagley/Melli to Hornets
Redick to Celtics TPE
Buddy and PJ Washington, celtics 1st to Pels.

Buddy essentially replaces Redick, and is better than Redick, Bonzo's minutes go to Kira/NAW, PJ provides the stretch shooting we need down low.

Larry Nance Jr - simple swap with Bonzo since the salaries match. This i think is the most ideal trade. Nance has shot around 34% the last two years from 3, and is shooting 43% so far this year, although i'm sure he'll come back down to earth a bit. He started shooting 3's two years ago. The positive with him is he's a great defender as well. Cavs have Drummond and Allen, as well as Javele and Love, so they've got too much down low, but i'd bet they value Nance pretty high, so i'm not even sure they'd do this swap. We might actually have to give up some 2nds, which i'd be fine with.

and the crazy trade of the day that won't happen:

Redick to Celtics TPE
Bonzo and two Pels 2nds to Pacers
Bledsoe/NAW/Melli/Celtics 21 1st, Pacers 21 1st, Pels 22 1st to Blazers
McCollum/Collins/McDermott/McConnel to Pels.

Kira/McConnell
McCollum/Hart
BI/McDermott
Zion/Collins
Adams/Hayes

Or you basically do the same thing for Beal, except swap Hayes for Melli, but that would leave us severely depleted roster wise, and the Wiz wouldn't look at Bledsoe as anything positive like the Blazers somewhat would.

Trade Lonzo for Jarrett Culver from the Wolves. They have Dlo, Malik Beasley and Anthony Edwards as their other 3 shooting guards and only Rubio as a point guard. Can work for both teams.

I like Buddy and PJ.

I’d like Beal like most, but I just dont know if we are going to be able to pull off a trade for him. Zion BI and Beal would be a nasty 3some. Somehow hanging in to NAW would be nice

How bout this? Just sit Lonzo and hopefully people will forget how bad he's been this season. Then trade him before the trade deadline

I wonder what the market was before the draft? That’s when we should have traded him. Hindsight is 20/20.

If we’re smart we bring him off the bench for precautionary reasons. If not, I’m truly worried we will have, or are, developing a blind spot for Lonzo.

Especially in a game like tomorrow where the Jazz are basically built to take advantage of our lack of spacing and PnR with a Bledsoe/Lonzo back court.

Officially listed as questionable, so I doubt he plays.

But the good news is that the team is likely to bring him off the bench for a few games, giving us more time to see NAW in the starting lineup.

Maybe Lonzo's knee was really bothering him and responsible for some of the poor play -- we'll see. Either Lonzo will play well and work his way back into the starting lineup, or the future is now with NAW.

NAW has looked like the right fit since being inserted. I don’t see how you take him out of the starting lineup.

Both Naw and Kira has shown in there short careers that they can shoot the three ball and take the ball to the basket. Lonzo the number 2 pick in the draft had to completely rework his shot, he’s still a work in progress. Now his shooting has gotten better and he does play pretty good defense and gets steals but NAW and Kira just look better at the point. Anyone think ZO can play a different position?

His three ball has been woeful this season

He provides almost 0 value on offense

yeah i tend to agree, i’ve noticed that he can come out lighting it up and as the game moves forward his game goes too shite.
