Mason over at BSS posted a quote yesterday from instreetclothes, the site that tracks and analyzes injuries. Lonzo's injury is the same as a "fake injury" teams used to list players having back in the day when they weren't really injured to get around roster restrictions that no longer exist.
I thought that was just coincidence leading to conspiracy theory until I saw this quote about the Harden trade that could happen possibly today.
Now I'm starting to wonder if Bledsoe/Lonzo aren't being held out as potential trade pieces.

I guess from an optics standpoint it’s better to be listed as out due to a minor injury than to say Lonzo was benched.
