Adams best attribute is arguable his ability to set screens but I don’t see anyone on our roster that can really take advantage of that.

Does BI count as a SG?

Guard wise I would say Kira or Bledsoe.

P&R's with BI, Zion and Adams will be deadly though.

That was why they had to get Kira. We know Adam’s is an excellent pick and roll big and that should be one of the strongest parts of Zions game

This is one of the reasons why I feel Lonzo needs to be moved for another guy who can get to the rim and finish

You’re hoping Kira Lewis can be that one day, but Bledsoe is no slouch in that role. Pretty good actually: Before the Bucks he was in the PnR on 46% of his possessions and in nearly the 90th percentile. Now, that has fallen notably in Milwaukee, down to only 28% of his possessions but still in the 83rd percentile.

But to me the problem will continue being the lack of spacing. At least long-term, though I don’t think Bledsoe is likely to stay here too long.

But with the lack of spacing you can basically sellout on Adams and not have to worry about Bledsoe shooting to guard the interior and that is a problem long term. Especially if we ever get into deep playoff runs where championship level defenses will be able to exploit to load up against us due to a lack of offensive versatility with our playmakers and big men.

I doubt we see Kira much this season. He’s only 19 but in a couple years I can see him being good for that role. Ingram and Bledsoe seem to be our best options right now but I wouldn’t mind it at all if they tried to trade for a starting PG and use a couple of those extra 1st rounders plus Bledsoe or Lonzo as trade bait.

Yes I know. Still think he’s the better overall guard at the P&R

We are working our way to deep playoff runs over the next 3-4 years

Let’s get to the playoffs first. Learn from it. Then refine the now playoff caliber roster to go deeper moving forward

In 2-3 years will Hayes have added 30 lb of muscle? Hopefully. Will he become a 3 pt threat? Hopefully. At the end of the day, he is the key developmentally to future roster management. In the meantime, we want to build a solid roster without pissing away all out draft capital
