played there friday and saturday in their members\guests tournament. course is in great shape! as stated, the greens were quick and very nice. fairways were very well kept. i belong to beau chene and the greens at grand ridge are actually rolling better right now than BC's. compliment to robbie and the money he's been putting into the club.

They had so much potential with the Nola City Park South project and managed to build a completely boring course. There isn't one hole that makes me excited to go back and play it again. Always well maintained though.

I see this alot and don’t really agree. I think the back 9 is really well done especially. I think they need to add some hazards on the par 5s, and that would really change the impression of it. Those play way too easy.

I want to know who built LaTour and find out why he didn’t do the South Course. If that architect could create THAT much elevation change in South Louisiana, I can’t understand why he isn’t the most sought after architect around this area.

I don’t know anything about course architecture. Just that LaTour somehow has elevation change and it’s really impressive

LaTour spent over 24million on the course? Damn. Solid course.

Played Belle Terre Friday, always liked the layout but it had gone to shite. The greens while still spotty in places rolled well and the rest of the course is in good shape. Last time I had played there for a charity event the greens were flat out terrible. Hopefully they can get the greens back to where they were years ago.
