I read a article recently that said the leaves in smokey mountains will change a little later this year. They said it looks like Oct 26 to Nov 3 would be an ideal time to see this. I have always wanted to go to this area to see the fall colors, anyone have experience with this and know if that is true?

Upper elevations in early to mid Oct. but peak isn’t always later Oct to early November. You can see colors as late as Thanksgiving though at lower elevations. It gets busy.

Smoky

It's a guessing game. It's like predicting where a hurricane will go. I know they aren't expecting it to be quick and maybe earlier than that this year.
