how interesting of a set up. You have both a 7 and 8 iron still? How far do you hit this hybrid? I assume like 155-165?

Got some friends at SCR that are from Hernando. Been invited but haven't been there yet.

Correct, on a stock easy swing. If i'm shooting at 155 from the fairway i'll use my 8 iron. 165-170 the 7.5, and 175-180 the 7 iron.
The first par 3 on my home course is typically too long for my 8 iron and a full swing with the 7 flies the green. My stock shot shape on hybrids is also a baby draw which is better suited for the course as well. That club may only come out 3 or 4 times in a round but it's a great utility club for me. Super forgiving too

How are the Gen 3’s? They look good I’m debating a combo set
Posted on 9/15/20 at 7:01 pm to WildcatMike
Current setup. Haven’t made too many changes in the last 2 years or so except getting new wedges when the grooves wear down and just put the spider putter in the bag this summer. Switched from a counterbalanced Scotty GoLo. New putter has helped tremendously on shorter putts.
Driver-Callaway Rogue 9.0 deg
3 Wood-Taylormade SLDR-S 15 deg
Hybrids-Taylormade SLDR-S 19 & 22 deg (3 and 4)
Irons-Mizuno JPX 919 hot metal 5-GW (also have a set of forged in the same set makeup for when I want a lower ball flight)
Wedges-Vokey SM8 54 & 60 deg
Putter-Taylormade Spider Tour 34”
I’ll play those SLDR woods until they fall apart. Have not found a club that comes close to how well these hit.
PS yes I need to wash my towel

They are fantastic. They have a softer feel than the Gen 2s. I hit those last year and just couldn't pull the trigger vs my AP2s. This years model changed my mind. I hit a few Ping models and the Titleist T100, T100-S, and T200s. Those were great clubs too but not enough to make me switch. The Gen3s did though. I thought I was going to have a combo set of 0311T and 0311P but went full set of Ts. They suit my eye better and I had better numbers on the Trackman vs the P
