Fast absorbing morning carbs/proteins pre-workout

For those of you who eat first thing in the morning, what do you eat when you wake up? I'm switching out of a cut to a bulk and was previously working out fasted. This week I've just been eating scrambled eggs on toast but I think that might be too slow digesting. I'm not opposed to a meal replacement shake either if anyone has one they recommend.

Straight whey doesn't have hardly any carbs though and my body doesn't handle milk well enough to drink it with skim milk so that's not an option either.

I'm telling you - Whey powder, chocolate unsweetened almond milk, crushed up plain chex cereal.
It's fantastic if you want some pre/post simple carbs.

I eat a banana before and a couple scoops of whey after.
