SIAP

Anyone know if drinking around the world in Epcot is open? I tried searching but the only results that came up were about their new rule “no walking/eating while walking”

Thanks

The beers they have at that are generic as frick, from what I’ve been told. “Oh look, I’m drinking a Guinness! Now I know what beer in Ireland tastes like! On to Australia for a Fosters!”

I don’t get the point.

To get drunk at Epcot?

You don’t have to just get beers they have at the store too.

I guess I just don’t get the point of spending all that money to go to Disney to drink beers you can find at an Applebee’s for half the price. But to each their own.

Only advice I’ll provide is to go inside the Germany restaurant for better offerings instead of just going to the beer stand with just Warsteiner and Jager available...

Hope you can complete the run. Start in Canada BTW, not Mexico. Get that Molson and Harp/Bass out the way early. Finish in Mexico with an easy lager

That’s the same thing people do at sporting events and festivals. Hell, a beer at most restaurants these days is $8. Alcohol is just expensive when you’re a captive audience.

You’re already at Epcot for other rides and attractions, why not get shithoused while celebrating other cultures?

There is also a quick service booth that sells brats, pretzels and beer
They sell a dark beer there that is awesome.

That's a very fair point.

While they do have the usual suspects from the country you are in, I did find some unique ones I hadn't seen before in most of them.

Also, prices/sizes seemed to vary across different countries. Glasses of wine for the wife were not priced or poured equally

Because it's fun. Besides, I didn't always get beers when i did it. Margaritas in Mexico. Sake in Japan. France has lots of options. My wife loves to shop, try new foods, and drink. She loved it. It's an all day thing but tons of fun.
